Victoria and Stefan Trummer announce the opening of their iconic Clifton, Va. restaurant, Trummer’s, after an extensive renovation and menu overhaul. With a month-long closure, the 10-year-old restaurant re-opened its doors as simply, Trummer’s, which is a more casual American bistro. Victoria and Stefan are proud of the award-winning destination that their team has built over the years and are evolving their concept to be a more accessible, yet high quality, dining spot that locals and food lovers from the region can enjoy more regularly. The installation of an extensive rotisserie will allow the kitchen, led by Chef John Cropf, to remain creative while still serving elevated food in a more casual environment. Most of the menu will be completely updated with new, bistro-style fare utilizing the new rotisserie, while Pastry Chef Meagan Tighe will unveil a new dessert menu featuring updated takes on nostalgic classics. The wine program, managed by sommelier Nicole Bernard, will remain one of the most extensive on the East Coast with over 8,000 bottles and a heavy focus on Austrian varietals. The new Trummer’s is now open and final menus and photography are coming soon.
